Rods offer a more structured and symmetrical look while still enhancing the overall effect of the items on display. Rods can be used as
a free hanging system for displays and signage. Rods are stainless steel and have a 1/4" (6mm) diameter. Each Rod can be loaded with
up to 250lbs (approx. 115kg).
 Heavy Cable and Rod Supports offer an endless variety of installation options. We are happy to assist you with your layout. All of the
Rod Systems must be anchored into a solid material or can be mounted on our aluminum track for mobility. The components are made from brass with a satin chrome finish. Other finishes such as polished chrome, satin, polished brass and black are made to order. Brass Rods must be used for these special finishes. Please note Brass Rods are less rigid than Stainless Steel.
We are not responsible for any incompatibility of components being used in systems or for applications for which they were not designed.
 
Basic Rod: Ceiling to Floor
Our basic Rod, called "RCF" is composed of parts R1-R8.
Rods are available in 5 different lengths, (1', 2', 3', 4' and 5') and are easily fastened together with a male and female end.
